30 Years in the Making
Reggie & Junior, Buddy & Molly
It all started with our very first dog over 30 years ago. Reggie was a rescue puppy from the dog shelter. He was the cutest black fur baby we’d ever seen. He was the love of our lives and became our best friend instantaneously. It turns out, he was a Goldendoodle before the designer breed was widely recognized. Reggie was such an intelligent, well-mannered dog… far from a mutt from the pound. As Reggie got older, we knew we would always want this type of companion as a part of our family. We had to keep his bloodline going.

25 years ago, we raised our first litter of puppies and kept Reggie’s first-born son. As his son aged, we kept Reggie’s grandson with plans to keep Reggie's bloodline going forever. Unfortunately, we lost Reggie’s bloodline unexpectedly on a cold February day.

Lucky for us, Goldendoodles were now recognized as the incredibly amazing dogs they are. Although we will never be able to replace Reggie and his bloodline, seven years ago, we were blessed to come across Buddy, the cutest black fur baby we’d ever seen since Reggie. He was a birthday present for our only child, Haylee Skye.

We thoroughly educated ourselves about the history of the Goldendoodle designer breed and the process of breeding since Buddy, a black F1b Goldendoodle, joined our family on June 9, 2016. Molly, a cream F1 Goldendoodle, joined our family on February 20, 2018. Their first litter of F2b Goldendoodles were conceived on 9/19/20. The F2b Goldendoodle generation are extremely desirable, as they have an excellent success rate for hypo-allergenic, non-shedding coats. Molly and Buddy were proud parents to our inaugural litter of Skye Goldendoodles. Their first litter of 10 precious puppies-- 5 females and 5 males-- arrived on 11/17 & 11/18 of 2020. Our second litter was born on 6/14/21. And The Goonies litter was born 3/6/24. Molly is retiring, and was spayed after her c-section with this delivery.

Doodle Dreams
At Skye GoldenDoodles, we have been dreaming of building a trusted Goldendoodle breeding business long before Buddy joined our family in 2016. When Molly arrived in 2018, our dreams were finally taking shape. We take our breeding responsibilities very seriously and have gone to great lengths to provide a healthy, safe beginning for each of our Goldendoodle pups. To ensure we produce the most high-quality puppies, we tested Buddy's and Molly's DNA for ancestry, genetics, and health traits. We are so excited to realize our Doodle Dreams, when each beautiful Skye Goldendoodle puppy is adopted by a loving and welcoming family. At Skye Goldendoodles, we'll continue to care about our Doodle babies long after they leave us. As such, it’s our strict policy to only sell to individuals; we will not sell to pet stores or brokers. To make sure our pups get the furever home they deserve, it is vital that buyers are ready to take on the responsibility of Goldendoodle ownership.
